Weekly Clinics

Coral Isle Golf Center offers weekly clinics for ladies, men and both men and ladies "mixed".  Generally, four (4) to five (5) golfers attend each session.  However, as the season progresses, attendance picks up to eight (8) to ten (10) golfers per session.  We have instructors ready to teach but with that many students, it can become a circus and have found the clinics' popularity may actually scare a few golfers off.  Sooo!!! If you would like to participate in your own clinic, we would be happy to schedule your private clinic with a minimum of four (4) persons required for attendance for a minimum of 4 (4) clinics 

Specialty Class Descriptions

Short Game Class

Learn how to use a putting technique in chipping and short pitches. Discuss air-time/ground-time ratios.  Meet Goldilocks and the Three (3) Bears

Pitch Shots

Class presentation discusses ten (10); twenty (20); thirty (30); and forty (40) yard pitch shots.  Learn "toss the ball" techniques.  Meet Clint Eastwood's "the good, bad, and ugly"

Sand Shots

Green-side and fairway bunker shots discussed and demonstrated.  Learn what a thirty (30) yard golf shot has to do with sand shots (no swimsuits allowed.)

Recovery Shots

Golfer find themselves in less than desirable locations on the golf course.  Trees/forests/

extra high shots/extra low shots.  Recovery shots lead to imaginative solutions.  Learn to hit rotten but useful golf shots (r.b.u.) on purpose.

If you would like to schedule you own clinic, please leave your name, phone number and day you would like to participate with the golf shop staff.  You and your friends can form your own group or if you are interested in being a part of a four (4) person clinic, we can try to place you in a group that is comfortable and convenient for you.  Where the weekly clinics are a "just show up" event, we ask your private clinic to commit to a minimum of four (4) clinics.  Participants will be asked to pay in advance.  The cost is $120 per student for the four clinics with balls included.  Absences will be dealt with in a fair manner.  Clinic topics can be chosen by the group or our instructor can assist in the class curriculum.
